The Future of Starsound in the Brewery District, Downtown Reno

In celebration of Starsound's 50th Anniversary, we are excited to announce our future investments in downtown Reno’s 4th Street Brewery District and vision to expand access to performance, production, and creative industry resources.

The New Starsound Flagship Showroom & Headquarters – Opening 2026 in the Brewery District

After 38 years on Oddie Blvd., Starsound will open a brand-new flagship Warehouse and Showroom in the Brewery District in 2026. The destination retail and creation hub will feature video wall and speaker demo zones, podcast and recording demo set-ups, and a high-touch retail experience where creators can rehearse, test gear, and produce content on site.

Introducing the "Starsound Music Hall" Opening in 2026 at The Morris on 4th St.

Starsound will assume music and events operations of The Morris, including an indoor, 300-capacity historic brick venue that will be branded “Starsound Music Hall” and the adjacent Backyard at The Morris (flex outdoor event space, up to 1,800 capacity). The complex will support concerts, community events, weddings, and corporate gatherings with indoor/outdoor flow, and will integrate F&B partners and a retail showcase for new gear.

The Impact

We are thrilled to unveil the Starsound Music Hall at The Morris. More than just an 1800-capacity venue, this is a catalyst for the entire Brewery District. Imagine a vibrant scene: at around 9:30 or 9:45 at night, as a concert wraps up, nearly 1800 concertgoers pour out and flow into every corner of the district.

From Black Rabbit’s intimate 75-person space to AleWorX, Alpine, and The Depot’s 200-350 person venues, every brewery and performance spot will be alive until two in the morning. This isn’t just a single concert, it’s a spark that turns the entire district into a thriving nighttime destination. We believe this will have a massive and positive impact on what the Brewery District is — and what it can become.

“We’re doubling down on Reno’s arts and entertainment future,” Nick Sorrentino, President and Owner of Starsound. “Between our new flagship warehouse - with expanded showroom, podcast, and demo spaces - and our full-scale music hall and rehearsal space, we’re building places where artists, entrepreneurs, and audiences can connect right here on 4th Street.”
